Just wanted to let everyone here know that the Kickstarter for the Veil of the Void Spell cards and the Reforged Core Rulebook has officially launched! We will post the link in this update so you can check it out. It makes an amazing addition to the game, and each deck includes all 130 spell cards from the core rulebook (updated to match the upcoming Reforged Update), 10 spells from the unique Void Spell PDF, and 3 Charge State tracking cards! All for one price. Or if you just want the PDF update of the Core Rulebook, there is a level for that as well.

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!
It has been quite a while since I sent an update through Kickstarter, for that I am very sorry. With the launch and distribution of the book, the holidays, daily life, and now this crazy pandemic, I lost track of time. But I am back and time to give a good update on everything :D Buckle up, this will be a long one!
First off, thank you again for all your support during and after the Kickstarter. I hope everyone is enjoying their PDF and paper copies of Veil of the Void as much as we enjoyed making it. We'd love to hear your stories and characters it has helped create. We have an updated website along with a growing forum where you can place your stories, ideas, etc. You can also check that forum for updates to the game rules and additional fun content. Second, speaking on updates, we are doing something big to Veil of the Void! Hopefully by the end of this year we will have our updated copy of Veil of the Void (known as the Reforged copy) completed. Now what is this update? Well that's pretty easy to explain, it updates and balances several rules (based on feedback and Q&A's), adds more lore, more artwork, more editing, and just general fantastic additions. It's quite a bit! BUT, it is very important to know that this Reforged update is not in anyway invalidating the copies you have. This means any copy of Veil of the Void can be used to play the game, as that is what I believe "new editions" should allow. This update improves upon our already fantastic Core Rulebook, and merely makes it even better! I am rather excited about it.
Now I wanted to let you know that if you backed us in this Kickstarter at the Hardback or Paperback copy levels, you will be receiving a copy of this PDF for free! This is to thank you for making this dream of mine a reality and to reward you for your continued support :D We plan to have it updated by the end of the year, but I will update everyone later once I figure out specific dates.
With this update I have taken all the fantastic and constructive feedback from groups (the Q&A forum, Twitter, Discord, Kickstarter, etc.) and implemented that into the reworks. That being said, the more eyes the merrier and I would love to receive any constructive feedback on the rules from the games you've played. I have already updated a lot but everyone has a chance to see something else, and I would prefer to make this update the best and final one for quite some time. SO, if you have seen something with the rules that has confused you or isn't quite clear, or might not have a proper description, please let me know! I want this update to be something amazing for you and for future Veil of the Void Veiliens :D!
There are many places you could send us your rules feedback and they will be listed below. If you have the time to do this, I would very much appreciate it!
Alright, one more update and then we are done! Phew, that was a lot.
We are doing a new Kickstarter this year (currently postponed till July to allow the pandemic to pass and daily life to hopefully get back to a somewhat normal place)! This Kickstarter is for Spell and Class Cards for the Veil of the Void Core Rulebook Reforged :O! The spell cards contain 140+ cards (every spell from the Core Rulebook plus the new Void Magic set all updated) all for one small price. The class cards will contain every class from levels 1-20 (excluding the shared levels like 4, 7, 11, etc.) Both of these together will make an amazing addition to your games and will help keep track of every cooldown and custom class in the game! This Kickstarter is still in progress, but it's coming along and I couldn't be more excited :D! You can click the picture below to see the upcoming Kickstarter, and to get the notification of launch.

Hardbacks and Paperbacks

Hello!
The hardback copies of the Core Rulebook were sent out on 08-16-2019!! You should have received your tracking number in an email for your hardback book. They should be there within a weeks time frame, though hopefully sooner!
The paperback copies had a bit of delay in printing but will be here Tuesday, 08-20-2019 and I will ship them immediately the next day :D! So those of you who ordered the paperback copies will receive them shortly as well.
I am so happy to hear that the PDF has been well received so far and really cannot wait for the physical copies to get there as they are truly beautiful! Thank you so much for all of your amazing support my friends, and I will send another update out once the paperbacks ship!
