The Finals

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!

We are in the end game now! Four weeks left 'til we begin shipping the books! This week I have a lot of finalization in front of me: transferring edits, adding additional graphics, and finishing/double checking formatting. This Sunday I will be ordering the test book to verify that it looks as perfect as I want. I am so unbelievably excited.

And now I wanted to say thank you again to all of you. You helped this 16 year old dream finally become a reality! Without you I have no idea how long it would have taken to finish it up. To know that you believe in this project and that you're looking forward to getting your copy means the world. So thank you, thank you, thank you for all your support. It won't be much longer now until release my friends, and I wait in anticipation to hear about your stories :D!

Also, there are still a few who have not completed their surveys in the backers-kit, including a few paperback orders. As a reminder, please finish those so I can actually ship them out to you, since I don't know your address until the survey is complete haha. 

The Dal'Kindrith rewards should be on their way this week as well so check your emails soon.

General Updates

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!

We are almost to the finish line! It's crazy to think that the book is this close to completion, and it's all thanks to your help. We are only 5 weeks away until the shipping date. These past few months have gone by so fast but it is incredibly exciting to see it all come together. 

What's Next?

All that remains now, other than completing the edits, is the last few pictures and completing the Art Book as well as the Dal'Kindrith! Here in the next week or so everyone who has completed their backers kit should be receiving the Dal'Kindrith PDF, which will let you prepare your "vampire" character before release! About a week or two after the Kindrith are released the artwork PDF should be on its way as well. 

Now once all the edits are complete, the art is finished, and those two PDFs are completed we will be ready to print. Shortly after I verify everything for the final times we will send the book to be printed. Roughly a week or so after we get our prints we will ship them off after verifying their condition. Then a few days before we ship out the books on July 31st (at the latest) you should receive the PDF copy of the Core Rulebook as well! 

I am so excited to get all of these items over to you and can't wait to see what stories you build using it!

What's After Printing?

I have so many fun releases planned after the printing and shipping are done. Here shortly our Patreon will be set up so our supporters can get early first access to the new PDFs that are releasing soon. Everything from new Races, a new Class, even a new Arcane type! Our Patrons will gain immediate access to any new ones before the general public as well! 

But the PDFs will not be limited to the Patreon alone and eventually they will be available for everyone to download! I am extremely excited to see what new additions our community adds in the coming expansions as well.

So be on the look out for all of this coming very soon!

Also, have another piece of artwork. Below is the Spectral Mercenary Unit, a group of undead spirits that inhabit soldiers and knights slain on the battlefield. They are an unfeeling group of deadly mercenaries and will work for anyone should they offer them fair compensation.

The Next Round of Rewards!

We sent out the next reward! After a random drawing of all the Class/Race art it landed on the Reflection reaper! The pictures have been sent to all backers of the $10 level and up! You should be receiving an email shortly. The email will have two downloads the 12x18 and 18x24 picture print outs. I already got my 18x24 picture printed at my local staples and it will be hanging on my wall soon! It looks so good and I am so glad it turned out well. I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I do :D

Also, have another fantastic picture! This is the Mist Wyvern, a small dragon native to the Sea of Clouds in the Realm of Order. Enjoy :)

The Next Steps Update!

An Update

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!

We are well on our way to the full release in July! I was a bit off on my estimation releases for the Kickstarter thank you video and the other PDF releases such as the Bookmarks and Artwork due to the fact that it took a while to get the Backer's-kits filled out by everyone. For that I apologize as I didn't take that into account. However, the next wave of rewards should be out by this weekend and now that most everyone has filled out their backers-kit my co-author and I will be able to record the thank you video soon :) Hopefully everyone is enjoying the Bookmark copies as well, I know I have them in my own book copy right now!

As far as the Core Rulebook PDF and Core Rulebook physical copies we are still within our predicted time frame. Everything is pulling together and it's just fantastic to see it come to life. I am working overtime daily to make sure that I deliver something you will be able to enjoy and be proud to own :) Time is moving quick and with slightly under 2 months remaining till release the anticipation is building :D Be thinking about your characters and universe my friends as it is just a short time till release!

Now for a small discussion on what comes after the release in July. 

I have so many plans for releases after the book launches! I set up a Patreon account, which is almost complete, for those who would be interested in supporting us after the Kickstarter release. On this Patreon you will gain access to the upcoming "mini-expansion" PDFs before anyone else! So if you're interested in supporting more releases and getting first access to those and other fun items then that's the place for you! I will post that link once it is fully operational for those who will be interested.

You may be asking what is this "mini-expansion" going to be? Well, I have a ton of PDFs to include: lore books, additional monsters, a new class, and quite a few new races; all of which are going to be fully lore based and released between now and the first full expansion for Veil of the Void! You will never be void of new content! Those with Patreon will gain the first access, roughly 2-3 weeks before others will be able to gain access. However once the PDF goes public many of them will be donation based so even those who cannot afford it will have access to content! Not sure yet how many will be donation based, but I honestly want to bring as much content as possible that includes as many people as possible. 

Now after the mini-expansion PDFs are all said and done they will most likely all be combined into one full book and then released eventually as a brand new expansion physical copy as well! So this will be a super fun way to get content but to also build an expansion together with this wonderful community so far! I cannot express my excitement for the future!!

Get ready for our journey into the void my friends for a whole multi-verse lay ahead of us!

Silvana the Aspect of Change Artwork

Time for some fantastic artwork again! This time my artist perfectly brought the deity Silvana to life! She is my personal favorite character within Veil of the Void and is one of the most terrifying deities to exist. Silvana is not maleficent in nature but she is incredibly mischievous and will mess with the players as much as possible just because she finds it fun. Her right side is a chaotic and ghostly form with quite the sinister smile while her left side is quite pleasant and cheerful representing order. Be careful how you interact with her as she is just as likely to hinder you as to help and she loves twisting words. I am a huge fan of this artwork piece and hope you enjoy it too!

Conclusion

2 Months Till Release!

We have 2 months remaining until the printing and shipping of the Veil of the Void Core Rulebook! So far we are on track with artwork and editing so we shouldn't have any delays prior to any unforeseen circumstances. I want to make it as close to perfection as I can so we are working hard to get that goal met. It's crazy to know we are this close to release already! 

I am working on the next reward release which should be up sometime within the next week now that I have all the class/race artwork. 

We are well on our way my friends and I can't wait to get the book completed and shipped out so your stories can begin flooding in. 

Also have some more fantastic artwork of the Arcane and Reflection Reapers!

We also released an incoming transmission video that is building up for some of the lore PDFs that will be published after the Core Rulebook releases! That's right, I have a ton of content planned to start releasing after the Core Rulebook publishes! You will have to wait very little time for the next releases and every last one of them will be based on the current Veil of the Void overarching story! It is going to be incredibly fun and will lead to some amazing stories. I look forward to hearing them all! You can view the video below:
